Tonight I just wanted to play along with this long backing track. I started the camera and let everything go easy and spontaneously played this extended improvisation on my guitar. It has some similarity to taksim techniques used in traditional Arabic music, but it's more like a casual improvisation that doesn't follow any rules or constraints. This jam takes different ways and crosses some various beats/styles. It has some blues, bossa nova, some Arabic darbuka beat and some latin bolero slow beat. That was so inspiring to me I also played many scales and experimented with many news ideas. All mixed with my favorite oriental/arabic flavor that keeps everything warm, soulful and full of feeling.
