"Stranger" (Destiny 2: Beyond Light Song) | Double Experience

► DISCORD, PATREON, MORE: https://linktr.ee/2xxp Band GamerTags: Ian - iamthenichols Brock - letsbrocknroll Kudos to Bungie for reintroducing the Destiny community to the Exo-Stranger (with Darkness subclasses to boot). The Exo-Stranger (Elsie Bray) is one of our favourite characters in Destiny 2, and we hope her/our Dark Future is explored even more in-game (read: wibbly-wobbly timey wimey hijinks). An Exo-Stranger song is the perfect bridge between D1 and D2, and dovetails nicely with our other Destiny songs (we feel!). NOTE: Being a fan of Destiny isn’t imperative to enjoy this song, but you certainly get a different dimension from the lyrics if you are). The Exo-Stranger is a character we’ve been dying to get to know more about since 2014. Which Destiny character should we write about next? “The Glimmer Shot” (Destiny 1 Song) -    • The Glimmer Shot (Official Video) | Double...   "Oh Listener Mine" (Destiny 2 Song) -    • Oh Listener Mine (Official Video) | Double...   Also feel free to follow our nerd rock journey as we write songs with the chat and tour the world! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - CREDITS: Vocals, Lyrics, Bass - Ian Nichols Guitars, Lyrics, Video Editing - Brock Tinsley Drums - DrumfaceJames This Destiny rock song was recorded at Room 21 in Toronto ON Produced, Engineered and Mixed by Anton DeLost (Silverstein, Seaway, cleopatrick) Mastered by Kris Crummet (Dance Gavin Dance, I The Mighty) Music and Lyrics by Double Experience © Colfax Rock - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - LYRICS: The When was wrong My Where was right Why’d you hide, keeping out of sight? ‘Cause I don’t know What you want from me Or why you’ve got this feeling it was meant to be Forever playing it on repeat It’s on repeat Fine line between light and darkness Two sides and we’re on the wrong one Endings are new beginnings Stranger Wanna know your name tonight The ground underneath is starting to break Shone so bright, now we’re casting shade No time to explain why I can’t explain If I do it would definitely be too late One thing for sure we can’t stay the same Can’t stay the same Fine line between light and darkness Two sides and we’re on the wrong one Endings are new beginnings Stranger Wanna know your name tonight There’s a quiet avalanche and it moves with purpose You lean in and say your name “I am your destiny” Stranger Wanna know your name tonight Fine line between light and darkness Two sides and we’re on the wrong one Endings are new beginnings Stranger Wanna know your name tonight Double Experience - Stranger (c) Colfax Music LTD Tunecore
