Jalebi Video Recipe With Jaggery & No Yeast

Jalebi tastes authentic when made with no yeast. Especially when made with Jaggery. Measurements: 1) 2 cups of Maida (All Purpose Flour) 2) 1 cup of Jaggery 3) 2 cups of Sugar 4) 1 tbl spn Cardamom (Elaichi) - Optional 5) Baking Soda (optional. Refer Note below on the details). 6) 1/2 cup rice flour (helpful to get crispier Jalebis). Yield : 35 pieces approx. NOTE **** Before you pipe Jalebi, you may need to do some trial and make sure it puffs up as expected. Based on country where you live, it might take longer to ferment. In case if it doesn't puff up as shown in the video, you can add little Baking Soda (very little, a pinch) and the outcome should be exactly what is shown here.
