QUASE PERDI O BARCO! Tive que refazer o porão

In this episode of my Atelier Boat renovation, the project almost came to an end. I discovered that the hold was completely impregnated with oil and Neutrol—a serious problem that would prevent any kind of painting and could compromise the wood's structure. With no alternative, I had to remove everything manually, in a heavy and time-consuming job, to save the hold and prepare the surface correctly. I show the entire process: from extreme cleaning to the application of red lead primer and enamel paint, beginning the recovery of this essential part of the boat.
