LANDBASED Squid Bash Spot Hopping - Port Hacking Squid

Calamari And Arrow #Squid Caught In #Landbased Spots On Port #Hacking River Using Yamashita, Duel, Yozuri, Shimano And Daiwa Squid Jigs G'day guys! In today's video, I am accompanied by Ben as we hop from spot to spot along the shores of the Port Hacking River. We started fishing out the front of the system off the rocky shores in search of calamari. Besides from the first cast luck where Ben hooked up as soon as we got there, the going was tough as the wind picked up shortly afterward. However, the one specimen that we did get was a good sized calamari that took a liking to a green/orange Yamashita 3.0 squid jig. Even though the wind forced our hand in causing us to move further inside the system, it was a productive move as we found squid at the very next spot at a popular wharf. I picked up a couple of squid; a small calamari and an arrow squid in the same spot. At the final destination which was at another wharf, Ben picked up a few more squid to cap off a successful session chasing squid on the Hacking. The day was full of laughs and stories as you will see in the video! Just make sure that you are not eating anything when the story is told! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Gear used: Rod - Daiwa Generation Black Itchy Twitchy 1.5-3kg 6'10" Reel - Shimano Stradic Ci4+ 3000 FB Line - PowerPro Bite Motion 8lb Leader - 14lb Sunline FC Rock Lures - Yamashita 2.5 NIB Brown Natural ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Note: Out of respect and courtesy for others, I refrain from naming spots unless it's a very popular spot. I don't mind others mentioning the spot it in the comments and I often leave enough evidence for those that want to find the spot, to be able to work it out from the video.
