Bronwyn Appleby, disguised as Bonnie Barstow, gains access to K.I.T.T. and alters its computer code. This gives electronics genius Marco Berio control of the car. Neither Michael nor the real Bonnie can prevent K.I.T.T. from leaving them, heading in an unknown direction. Michael sets off on RC3's motorcycle to find K.I.T.T. The action series revolves around ex-cop Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff), whose life is saved by a mysterious millionaire after a serious accident. Equipped with a new identity and a talking, high-tech supercar named "K.I.T.T.," Knight now fights evil and is called in whenever the regular police force can't reach him. This usually results in spectacular car chases and humorous interactions between Knight and his idiosyncratic car.
