Cruising French canal Saone from Chalon- Lyon

Sailing French canal. After some wonderful days in Chalon, where we got to see most of the city, we sailed further down the Saone. It was an absolutely fantastic road and we enjoyed the summer to the fullest. We passed a disused lock, which had been converted into a marina. Next stop on our trip was in Macon. We were located in a nice harbor, but somewhat far from the city. But that does not stop a bunch of long-distance sailors from seeing the city. So I think we probably walked about 10km that day. After Macon, we should start looking a little more to the first suburbs of Lyon. Follow our sailing om Frence canal.
