TWO HOURS IN DEATH ZONE | Kanchenjunga Summit @8586m | International Mountain Day Special #DeathZone We had to spend two hours at Kanchenjunga Summit at 8586m altitude on 21st May 2018. Altitudes above 8000 meters are considered death zone because the air is so thin that it gets very difficult to breathe. Air pressure and thus oxygen is one-third of what we experience at normal altitudes.
