Jason’s Lyric (1994) is a powerful romantic drama set in Houston’s Third Ward, following Jason, a responsible young man haunted by a violent past, who falls deeply in love with Lyric, a woman who offers him hope and a chance for a new beginning. But as Jason dreams of escaping his troubled life, he is torn between his future with Lyric and his loyalty to his volatile younger brother Joshua, whose self-destructive path threatens to pull them all into tragedy.
