In 1957 R Gordon Wasson approached a Shaman in a remote village to ask for her guidance through the 1st recorded shroom trip. Maria Sabina would then go on to become the 1st American Shaman, guiding the likes of Mick Jagger, John Lennon and perhaps Walt Disney through the psychedelic realm. Sadly. Maria's life would turn for the worse after her meeting with the Americans, and this is her story.
