In this project I propose the construction of a homemade mold for quadrangular blocks, which will serve as a form of cement to build pillars or load-bearing columns, that is, to arm the interior with corrugated iron rods and then fill with concrete. Therefore, they can be used for columns that need to support a considerable load. We can also use them to build chimney cannons, to discharge fumes by themselves, or to lead other pipes or ducts to discharge gases and fumes to the outside. The advantage of building columns with this system is that we do not need to assemble molds for the formwork, because the mortar block already acts as a mold and, at the same time, is a structural part of the column, that is, its visible face will be that of the column itself. block, which can then be topped or covered with other materials. On the other hand, the assembly is much faster, since you only have to stack blocks vertically, adding the slab that is needed according to the height, and filling the gap with concrete.
