Something like this has rarely been seen in the vicinity of a football match in recent years. Led by the large ultra groups of HSV and VfB Stuttgart, several thousand supporters gathered behind Hamburg's North Stand to participate in a protest rally. As with the recent nationwide protest in Leipzig, the focus of the rally was the planned measures of the Conference of Interior Ministers, which will convene in Bremen next week. These measures are expected to include significant tightening of the rules surrounding football matches, AI-driven surveillance, and more. Protests against these planned measures have been ongoing for weeks in and around German stadiums. Furthermore, fans observe a period of silence during the first 12 minutes of matches, as was the case this Sunday in Hamburg.
