Latorre: "No se cuestiona la honestidad de la directora de la Guardia Civil, sino la de Marlaska"

The journalist and director of La Brújula, in his monologue, details the plumber case that has recently implicated both Mercedes González and the current Minister of the Interior, as well as the statements made by David Sánchez Azagra in the case investigating his position in the Badajoz Provincial Council. #psoe #spain https://www.ondacero.es/programas/la-... Marlaska speaks of the honesty of the Director of the Civil Guard, Mercedes González. Too late. Because what is now in question is not the honesty of Mercedes González, but of Marlaska himself, the Minister of the Interior who just six days ago pledged his word. Yes, he met with her. The government is forced to confirm that the Director of the Civil Guard met with Leire Díez on at least two occasions. Díez was going around boasting about her friendship with Mercedes González and the considerable influence she wielded over her. According to Judge Pedraz's investigation, they met three times, and during these meetings, the PSOE's dirty tricks department instigated a campaign of persecution against those officers who had dared to investigate Pedro Sánchez's family and political circle. I was telling you that the government has been forced to acknowledge the meetings because, as El Mundo reports today, the UCO (Central Operative Unit of the Civil Guard) geolocated Leire Díez at the Civil Guard's headquarters when she attended several meetings with the Director. Mercedes González automatically deleted all her WhatsApp chats with Leire, who, as we'll hear, insisted that the Director of the Civil Guard was someone she trusted. This isn't the only audio recording related to the scandal that you'll hear during this program, because the investigation is riddled with compromising testimonies, such as Leire Díez's diagnosis of José Luis Ábalos's sexual misconduct, which was common knowledge in Ferraz, as we can see. There are dozens of testimonies like this one in the case file, because no self-respecting scandal is complete without its own audio archive. This mafia-like scheme's playlist is particularly shameful, not because of the opinions they might have about José Luis Ábalos, but because of the blatant ill intentions they harbor toward judges, prosecutors, and journalists. Remember Judge Alaya? There's no judge who's good enough if they dare to investigate a case that affects the PSOE or Pedro Sánchez's political or family circle. This isn't over… decisions are still being made almost every minute: The UCO (Central Operative Unit of the Civil Guard) is requesting that the judge in the 'Leire Díez case' order the PSOE's (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party) bank statements since 2024. They are also requesting information on several individuals under investigation, such as former Andalusian leader Gaspar Zarrías and lawyers Ismael Oliver and Jacobo Teijelo. The testimony of Pedro Sánchez's brother As we've been saying… even more serious than the nepotism surrounding the brother's appointment to the Badajoz Provincial Council is the persecution of all those who dared to investigate him, including none other than the investigating judge in the case, Beatriz Biedma. Today was an important day in the trial for the creation of a tailor-made job for David Sánchez Pérez Castejón, and it was important because both the alleged beneficiary and the person who allegedly facilitated the appointment testified. David Azagra tried to correct his outlandish statement made during the preliminary investigation. Do you remember? That truly embarrassing interrogation revealed he had no idea what his job entailed or where it was located. Today, he tried to redeem himself, offering a very brief statement in which he answered only his defense attorney's questions in 10 minutes. However, the court has made a decision that doesn't exactly benefit the defendant because, at the request of one of the prosecuting parties, they will play back that statement from the preliminary investigation in which he appeared so hesitant. Today, Miguel Ángel Gallardo was also asked if he was aware that David Azagra was applying for the position of director of the Office of Performing Arts, and if indeed someone had informed him of this. Gallardo maintains that he sent an unequivocal message to ensure that no one doubted the integrity of the process.
