According to Texas Prometric Skills Guidelines for the nurse aide state exam, this is a step-by-step demonstration video for changing the bed linen while the resident remains in bed. This skill is one of the 21 testable skills on the Texas State CNA Exam. Remember to include indirect care with this skill. Gloves are not necessary when testing through Prometric. I forgot to remind the students to make sure the top sheet is not tight on the resident's feet. So, please give the top sheet a little pull to loosen the linen around the feet before ending the skill.
