Part One City Of Londonderry Boyne Celebrations 2026 Documentary Series

The description below outlines a Seven Part (comprehensive) Documentary Series, showcasing the City of Londonderry Grand Orange Lodge, associated marching bands and those who support the Orange Family. Structuring for this project began in February 2026 with filming beginning in March, aside from our Real History Of The Troubles Documentary Series, this has to one of the most comprehensive projects we have ever undertaken and we do hope you enjoy this showcase of many months work. This morning, 24th July 2026 we have the pleasure of showcasing Part One of the City of Londonderry Grand Orange Lodge Boyne Celebrations 2026 Documentary series, this series of short documentaries will be showcased in Seven Instalments. Part One focuses on Boyne Celebrations in Rossnowlagh across the border in County Donegal. Part Two showcases Churchill Flute band a band which is one hundred and ninety years old, and will be published on Saturday 25th Of July. Part Three tells the story of Laura Marion Gailey, the only lady mentioned on the War Memorial in the Diamond in Londonderry and showcases, Acts Of Kindness, often carried out by members of The Orange Order, but with no desire for recognition for the sterling charitable work that they continuously participate in. Part Four will focus on how Orange Collarettes and Orange Sashes are made, the skill that is necessary to produce these iconic items of dress which are recognisable across the world and identifiable as representing the Orange Order, an institution with membership in many countries around the world. Part Five will showcase Killaloo True Blues Accordion Band, a band which this year celebrates Ninety Years in of history. Part Six will focus on the foundational Reformed Faith of the Orange Order, a production which will show a tradition across the border in East Donegal which has huge attendance at an annual Church event and Service, and the Annual Church event and Service of the City of Londonderry Grand Orange Lodge as part of their Boyne Celebrations. Part Seven will focus on the pinnacle of the Orange Calendar, the 12th Of July Boyne Commemoration, this year it was held on the 13th of July in Limavady, and what a glorious day it was.
