Hand made / hand fabricated / hand forged jewellery is becoming a lost art form and David would like to share some of his knowledge. I really the process and love how the pendant turned out in this jewellery making illustration. It has such an old world & Navajo style - look to it. I made most of my stamps as per an old document that I found that contained a lot of old stamp designs that the Navajo used back in the old days and have tried to recreate some of the combination stamping techniques. In order to move things along and get in to this video as much as possible of the processes that it it took to make this pendant - I have done most of the video clips in high speed playback. I also decided to include video footage of the Darkening the metal / Patina stage using Liver of Sulphur – I hope that you find this useful.
