Yukbaek, a branch of the Taebaek Mountain Range, lies Mugeon-ri, a village known as one of the most remote areas in Samcheok. Kim Tae-eun, who moved here five years ago captivated by the breathtaking scenery, has become such a local that he now serves as the village head. It is said that a new resident, just like Tae-eun, recently arrived in this village... The identity of this resident is none other than a Eurasian Nuthatch that has built a nest in the shoe rack! Did the little bird also recognize the village's scenery and coolness? Tae-eun, now in his fifth year as a farmer, describes himself as a "lazy farmer." Her balloon flower field looks like a field of wild daisies to anyone. It is so dense that you have to search for the balloon flowers as if playing a hidden picture puzzle just to barely find them. However, there is one thing she always does this season: picking luscious red hawthorn berries to make syrup. After working hard, she rolls up noodles and, while she's at it, even makes potato pancakes to set a bountiful table. We follow her to experience summer in this remote village, where she cools off at the village's hidden gem, the Moss Waterfall, when the heat is at its peak. - “I think this is the first time I’ve seen a waterfall like this. It really clears my head.” Ms. Lee Jung-yoon’s family used to visit the sea every summer. But this time, they decided to embark on a somewhat different trip. The place her family chose is a special waterfall nestled in a remote valley. Unlike other waterfalls, the Miin Waterfall in Dogye-ri, Samcheok, has a unique color to its water.
