Life in a world apart, or so it is lived apart from the world. The poet César González recites his poem "Villas," which he wrote while in prison, and proposes a sensory journey through the place where he grew up. Born and raised in a shantytown on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, César finished his secondary studies and began writing poetry… in prison. Upon his release, he studied philosophy and dedicated himself to filmmaking. He published three books of poems and directed fiction films and documentaries.
