Seen in this film is Lincoln Road, the Americana Hotel (The Sheraton Bal Harbour), Hialeah Park Race Track, a tourist attraction known as Parrot Jungle, a reptile farm, and the famed Marine Studios -- where the dolphin Flipper performed (now known as Marineland). Marineland of Florida (usually just called Marineland), one of Florida's first marine mammal parks, is billed as "the world's first oceanarium". Marineland functions as an entertainment and swim-with-the-dolphins facility, and reopened to the public on March 4, 2006 (charging the original 1938 admission price of one dollar). In 2011, the park was purchased by the Georgia Aquarium for a reported 9.1 million U.S. dollars. Motion picture films don't last forever; many have already been lost or destroyed.
