Tucked away in the lush green forests of Meghalaya, the breathtaking Wei Sawdong Waterfall is one of the most beautiful yet lesser-known waterfalls in India. In this video, I take you on a journey to explore this magical three-tiered waterfall, where crystal-clear turquoise water cascades down naturally carved rock formations. What makes Wei Sawdong Waterfall truly unique is its step-like structure. The water flows through multiple levels, creating natural pools that look straight out of a dream. Surrounded by dense forest and untouched nature, this place offers a peaceful escape away from the crowd. 📍 About the Waterfall: Located near Cherrapunji in East Khasi Hills Known for its stunning three-step cascade formation The name “Wei Sawdong” means “square-shaped water” in the local Khasi language Requires a short but slightly steep trek to reach the base ⚠️ Travel Tip: The trek down to the waterfall can be a bit challenging and slippery, especially during the monsoon, so wear good shoes and be cautious.
