STUDIO VISITS | JAKINDA

As part of our inaugural episode during our residency with We Are Lillies, our studio visit takes us to musician and visual artist Jakinda. We spend time with the Stiff Pap producer, who shares with us his initial exposure to the world of art, inspired by his elder sister's involvement in art classes. When his parents weren't enthusiastic about purchasing Pokémon and Dragon Ball-Z posters for him, he took matters into his own hands and began drawing them. This resourceful spirit continues to shape his career, evident in his choice to paint on cardboard when traditional canvas is beyond his budget.
