Contractor Said 2½ Ft Stump… This Thing Was HUGE!

This stump grinding job was more than I expected! I got a call from a contractor who said he needed a 2½-foot stump ground, so it sounded like a pretty straightforward job. I traveled about an hour to Decatur, Alabama, to take care of what I thought would be a quick stump grinding job. But when I arrived on the jobsite, I realized it was actually a large oak stump and much bigger than I expected. It definitely took more time and work than originally planned. Situations like this happen sometimes in the stump grinding business, where the size of a stump can look very different over the phone than it does in person.
