More Kenyans flee South Africa as anti-migrant crackdown intensifies
More Kenyans continue to flee South Africa, with 46 expected to arrive in the country tonight. This brings to 132 the number of Kenyans who have left South Africa to escape the attacks. More than 2,500 immigrants have now been repatriated from South Africa as authorities intensify their crackdown following nationwide anti-migrant protests. South African police say more than 900 people were arrested during Tuesday’s demonstrations, some of which turned violent. Emily Chebet reports.
