I’m thankful for all of my birth experiences, each transformative in their own right, each there to teach me something new, and each humbling me on a whole new level. My first two labors were empowering and wonderful, but also long and painful. So when my third birth came around I wanted to do something different. My neighbor at the time, Heather Mckean — a contributor in our course — encouraged me that I could rewire my brain for a shorter labor and more pleasurable birth experience. I was skeptical at first, but I gave it a shot. All it took was one Mind Change session and I got the birth of my dreams! It was a quick, glorious 8 hours of labor and it FELT GOOD! I couldn’t believe it! I was smiling through the surges and literally told my body what to do and when. Then, with my next two births I honed in on even more brain rewiring, and began to see birth as a sensual experience - and boy what a transformation that took place. I had my easiest births ever and I now describe birth as pleasurable, intense, and ecstatic, and I filled this course with everything I wish I was told before I became pregnant with my first child over a decade ago.
