The Pacific Airport Group (GAP) began construction on the new access road to Guadalajara International Airport, via Adolf Horn Avenue. This will become a second option for those traveling to the airport who currently can only access Chapala by road. The first phase, scheduled for completion in 2026, prior to the World Cup, covers six kilometers of this road, where potholes caused by flooding were recently repaired.
