Step by step carving of maxillary right central incisor. steps: 1. Draw midline and label each side of the wax block as labial, lingual, mesial and distal, 2. Crown length: 10.5mm Root length:13.0mm 3. Divide the crown in 3 thirds- cervical, middle and incisal third, 4. Mesiodistal diameter of crown - 8.5mm At cervix 7.0mm 5. Make trapezoid 6. Labiolingual diameter of crown- 7.0mm At cervix 6.0mm 7. Carve the labial surface convex and outline the lingual half as S shape & remove extra wax 8. Now carve the lingual fossae. 9. Outline the conical, apically tapered root with triangular base. Carve to remove extra wax. 10. Mark the cervical outline- mesial:3.5mm , distal:2.5mm.
