Damen Multi Cat 2712’s at work in Norwegian Aquaculture

The Norwegian aquaculture sector has use for a range of marine solutions. In this video two salmon delousing operations are shown using a Multi Cat 2712 and a combination of a Multi Cat 2712 with a Stan Pontoon 4113. Other applications in the aquaculture sector include mooring, towing and various maintenance operations. The Multi Cat 2712, with a length of 27.27 metres, a beam of 12.50 metres and a maximum bollard pull of 34.8 tonnes. The vessel carries two Cat C32 TTA CERT engines with a total power of 1,790 bkW at 1,800 rpm, which offer the vessel a maximum speed of 10.5 knots. Her basic functions are anchor handling, dredger service, supply, towing, hose handling, surveying and fish farm works. Both Multi Cat vessels are outfitted with delousing equipment by the client.
