What I Learned From Getting Hit By a Car

We set out to ride a city bicycle across Japan and complete the series we started last year. But things took a sudden turn when a truck, speeding through a crosswalk at 50 miles per hour, struck my front tire. I was thrown about 12 feet and sustained serious injuries. I then went on a wild goose chase trying to find medical attention halfway around the world from my home.
