Warum die kürzeste Straßenbahnlinie Deutschlands existiert!

I rode on Germany’s shortest tram line. It runs from Mannheim Bensheimer Straße to Mannheim Franklin Sullivan. The operator is Rhein-Neckar-Verkehrs GmbH (RNV). Length: 1.8 km Travel time: 4 min Track gauge: 1000 mm Overhead line voltage: 750 V DC However, this length is only temporary, because the line is actually planned to become much longer and, from 2027 onwards, will run across the entire city of Mannheim. Note: As you can see in the video, this tram also runs for a small section under ESBO regulations, even though most of the route is operated under BOStrab. My definition still follows the categorization on bahn.de, according to which this is a tram, just like RNV line 5. 📌 I would be happy if you took out a channel membership.
