We headed downtown for a highly anticipated anime pop-up event, but the day turned into quite the adventure! 🚋 We started by taking the TTC into the city, only to be met with a massive protest happening right in the heart of downtown. Before hitting the event, we stopped by a PopMart shop. As fans of blind boxes, we had to check it out, but we were shocked by the prices compared to what we’re used to in Japan and Hong Kong! 💸 Was the pop-up worth the 30-minute queue? We're giving you an honest look at the event space, the anime stalls, and the variety of merch available. We also found a hidden gem of a Korean gift shop next door that was full of cute finds! 🇰🇷✨ To wrap up the day, we grabbed an early dinner at a local burger shop (the burgers were 10/10, but the fries were a bit... well, crispy 🍟🔥) and hopped on a streetcar for the very first time!
