He spent 13 years as a correspondent for RAI in Paris and Brussels, then hosted the first news programs in Rome. Attracted by the rationality of science and struck by the lack of scientific culture in our country, he decided to dedicate himself exclusively to intense outreach. He has produced hundreds of television programs (most notably, since 1981, the Quark program, which is still on the air). He has written 36 books with a total circulation of over 3 million copies.
