Walk with me through Helensburgh Town centre, which is located on the North side of the Firth of Clyde in Scotland. The Town has a population of approximately 14000. In a 2006 survey, Helensburgh was shown to be the second most expensive place to buy a property in Scotland. Helensburgh is about 25 miles away from Glasgow and has got good transport links to the city. Helensburgh is also influenced by the presence of the Clyde Naval base at Faslane on the Gare Loch, which is home to the nuclear submarine fleet. The town has many restaurants and drinking establishments, all of which are very good quality.
