TARRAGONA Spain in Spring. A week of Roman History, Catalan Culture & Cuisine 🇪🇸 ☀️

Highlights of our visit to the historic, coastal town of Tarragona. Founded by the Romans, there is still so much to see and enjoy. We watched a display of gladiators in the Roman amphitheatre, attended Easter Sunday Mass in Catalan at the Cathedral and spent a wonderful day at the old port. The people are kind and friendly and the Chartreuse cocktails are a refreshing treat. We had lovely weather but it was warmer than we expected; more like a UK summer's day even in April. We stayed at the H10 Imperial Tarraco Hotel, in an imperial suite with a fabulous sea view. The best food we ate during our week in the town was in the hotel restaurant and the rooftop bar. It was sensational with excellent customer service. The amazing staff made our holiday so relaxing and pleasant.
