Walsh 2010 senesinde ayrıca “Powder” filminin şarkılarını seslendirmiştir. Solo album olarak toplam dört album çıkaran Walsh, günümüzde Starsailor ile tekrar bir araya gelip konserler vermeye devam etmektedir. The frontman of Starsailor, James Walsh gained worldwide reputation with Starsailor's "Love is Here" album and songs like "Four to the Floor" "Poor Misguided Fool" and "Tell Me It's Not Over" reached a large audience and gained a huge success as the album has sold more than 3 million copies. Walsh decided to make his own solo album in 2009 and worked with American singer Suzanne Vega at his "Live at the Top of the World EP" short album which was published in 2010. The same year, Walsh featured at the soundtracks of the film "Powder".
