360 WION: La Tomatina- the world’s largest food fight!

At the end of August every year thousands of people flocked to the Spanish town of Bunol to participate in the La Tomatina festival, the world’s biggest food fight. In preparation for the festival, local residents covered their houses with large plastic sheets as truckloads of tomatoes are shuttled into town. Over the course of the hour-long event, revellers pelt each other with over 150,000 kg of tomatoes.
