SURYA.CO.ID - Agustina Arumsari, Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), stated that her agency will evaluate the incentive regulations for Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) or Free Nutritional Meal (MBG) program kitchens. The evaluation will be conducted on the Rp 6 million per day incentive scheme currently provided to each nutrition kitchen. "We will evaluate that (incentive) later. Once the beneficiary data is finalized, we hope the incentive will not be a flat Rp 6 million for all," Agustina said at the parliamentary complex in Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (June 15, 2026). According to Agustina, the incentive amount is expected to no longer be uniform for all SPPGs. The BGN believes the current system does not take into account the number of beneficiaries served by each kitchen. Currently, kitchens serving 500 and 1,500 recipients receive the same incentive amount. Therefore, the National Agency for Food Security (BGN) is currently conducting a re-data collection to determine the actual number of beneficiaries in each region. The results of this data collection will later form the basis for determining the amount of incentives received by each SPPG. Furthermore, BGN is also opening up the possibility of combining the operations of several kitchens with relatively few beneficiaries. This step is considered to increase the efficiency of the MBG program implementation in various regions. Agustina emphasized that the main objective of this policy is to ensure that the food provided to beneficiaries remains high-quality, safe, and meets food security standards.
