Black Canyon Campground, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Black Canyon Campground is located 16 miles from Santa Fe, New Mexico in the Santa Fe National Forest. It is open from May to mid-October for $10/night as of 2021. You can reserve 18 out of the 36 sites thru recreation.gov. There is no electricity available, and the water was shut off in 2020-2021, not sure if it will be turned back on. There is a dump station at the Hyde Memorial State Park just up the road for a small fee. Wood can normally be purchased at the Smiths & Albertsons locations, and also at Home Depot & Lowes. There are many trash containers available, so no reason to leave garbage in your fire pit! All sites have a table, fire pit w/grill, lantern post, and tent pad, 7-36 have a paved parking pad.
