Kullu home stay

During my visit to Kullu, I came across a very beautiful village. While we were heading towards a waterfall, we passed through a small Village called KAIS. This place is located about 10 kilometers from Kullu on the Manali road, but slightly off the main highway, on a narrow and less crowded road connecting Kullu–Naggar–Manali. Although this road also leads towards Manali, it is not as wide as the main highway. Along this route, we spotted a village with very old and traditional houses—some of them around 100 to 200 years old, made primarily of wood. In Kullu, such traditional wooden houses are quite common. These homes are specially designed keeping in mind the local weather conditions—snowfall, rain, and sunlight. Typically, these houses have three floors: the ground floor is used for livestock, the middle floor is for living and often includes a temple, and the top floor is used as a kitchen, or sometimes both kitchen and temple. The beauty of these houses is truly heartwarming. A little further ahead, we found a homestay. I spoke with the owner, who warmly shared all the details—such as the cost of staying, the facilities available, the kind of food they offer, and nearby places worth visiting. He also shared his contact number. So, this entire vlog is based on this experience.
