Cumberland West - B&O Cumberland Gateway
The B&O Railroad in Cumberland Today in 1953, the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, through the Cumberland gateway, links 13 great states to the nation. Millions of tons of freight and tens of thousands of passengers are focused on Cumberland, as a vital link in a vast transportation network. This network encompasses service from New York and Washington in the East, to Chicago and St. Louis in the Midwest. NOTES This movie was done following promotional railroad movies of the 50s, using the Cumberland West HO layout for showing moving trains and locations. Initially Shot, Cut and Edited in August 2014, and presented at the B&O national convention on 9/2014, but the final cut was done a year later.
