This part of Volos offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and urban vibrancy, with its well-maintained green spaces and historical landmarks providing a peaceful retreat within the city. Continuing along the Volos promenade and marina, we observe the elegant yachts and boats docked along the waterfront. The marina, with its picturesque setting, serves as a gateway to the Aegean Sea and a hub of activity where visitors can take leisurely walks or dine at the seaside cafes and restaurants. As we venture into the city center, we arrive at Ermou Street, the main shopping area of Volos. Despite it being the middle of August, when many locals are away on their summer holidays and several shops are closed, the street still exudes a quiet charm. The few open stores offered a variety of goods, from fashion to souvenirs, providing visitors with a taste of local shopping culture.
