After graduating from university, I left Kansai to start working, where I struggled to master standard Japanese. When I lived in Osaka, I used to wonder, "Why don't people who move to Osaka speak the Osaka dialect?" But it wasn't until I struggled to learn standard Japanese myself that I realized how difficult language correction is. It's the saying, "You only understand the difficulty when you're in the other person's shoes." After a few years of consciously speaking standard Japanese, I had the opportunity to return to Osaka, and now I live in the familiar city of Osaka. And after my own experience of struggling to correct my dialect, I decided to help others who are struggling to learn the Kansai dialect. And so, I now teach Kansai dialect on YouTube. My goal is to create the world's most understandable Kansai dialect course for anyone who wants to learn it.
