About the Presenter Kirk D. Fasshauer, LCSW, FT, is the Director of Crisis Response Services and Professional Development for Peace River Center. He has been with Peace River Center for 20 years and was responsible for creating the Crisis Response Team. Kirk has over 30 years of various mental health and psychiatric emergency health care experience. Kirk holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University in New Jersey and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida. He is also a trained crisis/hostage negotiator and a certified Field Traumatologist.
