Snowy Mountains Camping at Paddys River Dam in the Bago State Forest - ASMR

Camping, fishing and hiking at Paddys River Dam. Tucked away in the Bago State Forest between Tumbarumba and Batlow, the access road in is unsealed but suitable for 2wd except after rain. The campgrounds hug the dam where you'll see plenty of wildlife, including horses, kangaroos, platypus and birdlife. There are plenty of free camping sites, some with toilets, picnic tables and fire pits. Great for trout fishing, swimming and kayaking. The Hume and Hovell Track also runs through the area which can take you for a relatively short walk to the Paling Yards, or if you're looking to really stretch the legs, Buddong Falls is a lazy 15.8k walk from the dam.
