Hip Hop History Month.. At the inception of his career in the Morris Heights Area of The West Bronx..Kool Herc had a partner named Coke LA Rock.. Coke LA Rock and Kool Herc was partners in music from August 1973 - 1977/1978...During that time frame Coke LA Rock did his share of DJ'n and emcee'n at the Twilight Zone the Hevalow and the Executive Playhouse alongside Kool Herc making their club parties the premier place for B.Boys around The Bronx and Harlem... However during the late 1990s. early 2000s Kool Herc got promoted by KRS-1 in major hiphop meetings as the lone creator of HIPHOP....Leaving Coke La Rock to now represent for himself...Kool Herc's credit is OVERINFLATED!! Kool Herc has been getting credit for things he didn't do!! There was other West Bronx DJ's who was putting it on at Cedar Park etc
