Come, Abide

I'm experiencing a side of Jesus I've never met before. It's a side of Him that doesn't require anything of me. I didn't know it but I was singing and dancing for Jesus because I thought I needed to to get His attention. Or to perform for Him so that He would give me a part of Himself. But really He's asking me to sit and enjoy His presence without all the singing and dancing. It's nice to enjoy Him. It's nice to hear Him. It's nice to be friends with Him without the performance.
