Work with SPI flash that has the write protection enabled.
This is LCD monitor, to be able to detect , the power supply needs to be at around 2.4-2.5v. (3.3v will not work). The erase failed because the write protection bits are set. This video explains how to clear the write protection bits then program and then write back the protection bits. Flash: W25X40A.
