These commercials aired on Lifetime on December 28th, 1988 1. "The Night They Saved Christmas" Commercial Bumper (I think this is the first time I've posted anything from Lifetime) 2. Promo for "MacGruder & Loud" (I understand that most of what they played back then were TV movies and other leftovers from network TV...but it's a bit weird they were airing reruns of a show that only ran for 15 episodes. Movies On Lifetime in December 44. "The Night They Saved Christmas" End Credits (I've actually seen this, and it's actually not bad for a TV movie and has a decent cast...including Mason Adams as a greedy oil executive and Art Carney as Santa. They didn't have the budget to do the North Pole justice, but the plot involves Santa Claus trying to stop an oil driller from dynamiting the North Pole...so it's more interesting than most made-for-TV Christmas schlock.
