Classic Hardcore '92 | DJ Digital (DJ Ital) | Weekend Rush FM (London Pirate Radio)

In 1990, Weekend Rush FM first broadcast as a pirate radio station on the 92.5FM dial and then took over the 92.3FM dial roughly around 1994. DJ Rusher had set up the station in his local area of Nightingale Estate, in Hackney. It attracted a lot of local talent from the area across London. The year of 1992 saw the Hardcore movement take the nation by storm, Weekend Rush FM put their mark on it, not only as a pirate radio station but as a promotor of rave events and music producers releasing the "Weekend Rush E.P. - Dica & Big Vern (Boogie Beat Records, 1992), featuring tracks like: "Desire", "Murderer", "Don't Think About Me", and, "100M PHr". The same year it was followed by Weekend Rush E.P. Part 2 - Dica & Vinyl Groove ‎(Boogie Beat Records, 1992). Many of their performers went to Kool FM 94.5 a neighbouring pirate radio station which also played Jungle music.
