I TURDILLI O CRISPIRI CALABRESI PER NATALE | UNA CLASSICO IMMANCABILE | RICETTA FACILE E VELOCE

THURSDAY APPOINTMENT WITH A TRADITIONAL CALABRESE RECIPE, TYPICAL OF CHRISTMAS IN OUR REGION THAT IS REPROPOSED EVERY YEAR... CALABRESE CHRISTMAS TURDILLI OR CRISPIRI Today a new recipe that continues the saga of traditional and new proposals, in fact we make turdilli or crispiri (as they are called in my area) which is a classic dessert that can be used as a savoury It is an ancient recipe made with few ingredients, but nevertheless it has a unique and delicious flavour In ancient times Turdilli were made as a sweet as they were covered in granulated sugar, but also as a savoury (therefore without sugar) to accompany them with the healthy aperitifs of the past Good recipe I will describe how to proceed: We prepare the dough simply by mixing the sifted flour with salt, red wine and olive oil.... we mix well and then knead with our hands to mix the ingredients and mix the dough We finish the work on the work surface, the final dough will be like pizza When finished we let it rest for 5/10 minutes covered Now we take it again and work it with our hands to form a loaf of bread, then we cut some pieces and create long sticks with the help of the palms of our hands When done we cut the sticks into more or less equal pieces We pass each piece over a serrated tool to create the turdilli We put some oil to heat, when it reaches a temperature of about 130 degrees we immerse the pieces and let them brown well (they must darken) The turdilli that we want sweet we pass in granulated sugar while still hot, the others we leave them like this When finished they are ready to taste, I absolutely recommend them if you don't know them I hope you like the video and the recipe, let me know in the comments Share and give a nice like Subscribe to channel #turdilli #dolcenatale #christmas #calabria #traditions #recipe #foodblogger Here's what you need Ingredients: 800g 00 flour 300ml red wine 150ml olive oil 12g salt
