Canon Zoom Lens EF 24-105mm 1:4 L IS USM Err 01 Err 01 "Communications between the camera and lens is faulty. Clean the lens contacts" But it does not help to clean the lens contacts or the camera contacts. The Err 01 is a normal issue because the aperture flex cable is broken inside the lens, and the aperture assembly with the flex cable, or only the flex cable have to be changed to a new one. But it could also be something else has broken inside the camera or the lens.
